September 8, 2001 dawned bright and sunny (although a tad bit warm), perfect weather for Outlaw Days. Folks and little buckaroos from all over the Delmarva area came out to Tuckahoe Equestrian Center to watch the Tuckahoe Actors Guild put on the best cowboy show in the Mid-Atlantic!.
Each year, a series of plays or cowboy vignettes are performed. Each play is written by our own members, rehearsed and refined from April to August.....all culminating in a action-packed, foot stomping rowdy good time in September!!!
But that wasn't all.....the little buckaroos could play Deputy and track down all the cowboys and cowgirls from the Wanted Posters that were handed out at Tuckahoe City Limits (otherwise known as the Entrance Gate). If they were good at catching these varmints...they
were instantly deputized as an Official Tuckahoe Deputy Sheriff!! There was also an ole' gold mine where they could try and strike it rich with a find of fool's gold, arrow heads and all sorts of fancy gemstones. Check out the events to see more of the special features that happen every year at TUCKAHOE OUTLAW DAYS!!!
