The son of a Boston doctor, Pa graduated from one of them there Ivy League colleges, but he left the family business and went into lawyering for a bit, but that didn't pan out, so he tried out a few more professions and not liking them he decided to head out West and strike out on his own....stealing his pa's best team and wagon he drove until the wheels fell off the wagon right outside of Tuckahoe City near by to the Tuckahoe River and not having anything better to do, he decided to start a business ferrying people 'cross the river, using that ole wagon, 'specially since it didn't have any more wheels - but that business sunk....seeing as the river was less than a foot deep, most folks just thought they would walk across.  One dismal afternoon, Pa spied what would be the future Ma Swill.....and decided to get hitched up and set up a homestead outside of Tuckahoe City and started doing what they done best which was cooking whiskey and procreating!!!
