Born to a life of privilege, Dancy Mae was dancing near 'bout as soon as she could walk.  Twirling and stepping, her mama's hopes and wishes for Dancy to be a school teacher were soon dashed as Dancy runned off every chance she could so she could steal away and watch the "fancy ladies" dance at the Rough Rider's saloon in Tuckahoe City.  It didn't take ling for Dancy to learn all there was to learn and by the time she was 14, she was dancing will all the other painted ladies.  But beware, she has an ornery suitor who ain't too pleased with her chice of occupation - worse yet he is one of Pa Swill's boys - so ya just know trouble is awaiting to be brewed!
